After a successful treble-winning season with Paris Saint-Germain last campaign, Desire Doué has emerged as the winner of the 2025 Golden Boy Award, with the official ceremony set to take place on December 1.
The 20-year-old has been named the best U-21 footballer of the season in Europe, beating young talents like Pau Cubarsí of Barcelona and Kenan Yildiz of Juventus to win the award.
His exceptional performance in last season’s 5-0 Champions League victory over Inter Milan earned him the man of the match with two goals and an assist.
He also finished fourteenth in September’s Ballon d’Or rankings and second in the Kopa Trophy, just behind Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.
Doué netted 16 times and provided 16 assists over 61 games last season. He also made seven appearances in this summer’s Club World Cup, finding the back of the net once before they were eliminated in the final by Chelsea.
