AC Milan in advanced talks with Sporting for Conrad Harder

After the collapse of the Victor Boniface deal, Milan are now close to finalising the signing of a new striker, Conrad Harder, for Max Allegri.

According to Football Italia, both clubs are close to agreeing on a deal worth €24 million plus €3m in add-ons for the Danish striker.

The Rossoneri are facing competition from other European clubs, with English clubs and Rennes keen on his signature.

The 20-year-old developed in the Nordsjælland youth system, making a name for himself with impressive numbers at the youth level, scoring 27 goals in 24 appearances with the U19s in the 2022/23 season.

He made his Superligaen debut in June 2023 and scored his first professional goal just a few months later.

In the summer of 2024, Sporting Lisbon signed him for around €19 million. He soon repaid the club’s gamble on him when he scored in the league, cup, and Champions League, proving decisive in Sporting’s triumphs in both the league and the Taça de Portugal.

He finished last season with 54 appearances, netting 13 goals and assisting 10 times across all competitions.

The Italian giants are considering other forwards, with reports that they intend to sign two strikers before the transfer window closes.

Milan travel to Lecce on Friday for their next Serie A match after they lost to newly-promoted side Cremonese on opening day.
