Kingsley Coman is set to join Al Nassr from Bayern Munich

Saudi club Al Nassr have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the permanent transfer of Kingsley Coman for a fee of €35 million, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The 29-year-old will be signing a three-year contract until the summer of 2028 and will receive €20-25m net per year.

The Frenchman trained at Paris Saint-Germain’s academy and then moved to Juventus in 2014 on the expiration of his contract, winning the Serie A and Coppa Italia in his first season in Italy.

In August 2015, he transferred on loan to Bayern Munich, then permanently, winning eight Bundesliga, three DFB-Pokal, and six DFL-Supercup titles.

He won the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League by scoring the only goal in the final against Paris Saint-Germain and won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup later that year.

He had won the league title in his first 11 seasons as a professional until the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, when Bayer 04 Leverkusen surprisingly finished ahead of the Bavarians and won the Meisterschale.

The French international’s last outing with Bayern was against Tottenham in a 4-0 friendly victory in Munich.

He found the back of the net in the 61st minute, doubling the Bavarians’ lead and coming off six minutes later, playing his last minutes for the German giants.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr have made quality signings this summer, with Portuguese international João Félix and Spaniard Iñigo Martínez among others.

Al-Alami’s addition of Coman will bring pace and experience to their attack as they prepare for the new Roshn Saudi Pro League opener.
