Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho close to Juventus switch after full agreement on wages

Juventus are reportedly on the verge of signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.

The Serie A giants have reached a full agreement with Sancho on a contract worth €6 million per year, according to Sport Mediaset

It is said the 25-year-old has agreed to reduce his wages by 50 percent to move to Juventus this summer.

The Old Lady previously submitted a €17m bid for the England international, but they are now expected to meet United’s €25m valuation.

This is a big boost for Ruben Amorim’s side who look to get under-performing stars off their wage bill in the 2025 transfer window

They are also open to offers for Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho, who are all deemed surplus to requirements at the club.

Sancho spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Chelsea. He helped the Blues win the Europa Conference League by scoring in the final against Real Betis.

The left-winger scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions, but there were long periods when his displays were far from convincing.

Sancho’s loan deal included an obligation to buy for €29m, but Chelsea decided to pay a penalty fee to nullify the transfer

The 25-year-old joined United in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth around €85m.

But he completely failed to meet expectations at Old Trafford, registering just 12 goals in 83 matches.

Sancho was involved in a public spat with former Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag in September 2023, which led to his loan transfer to Borussia Dortmund the following January.

He impressed with his performances during his spell at the German outfit, and Chelsea signed him for the 2024-25 season but decided against making his loan move permanent.
