Arsenal were top of the Premier League table at Christmas but have since dropped to fourth following back-to-back losses.
West Ham United stunned the title contenders by sealing a 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium before Fulham piled further misery on them by running out 2-1 winners last week at Craven Cottage.
Manager Mikel Arteta branded the Fulham defeat as their worst ‘performance of the season’.
To lift the mood at the Emirates, the Gunners need to win their next match against Liverpool.
Their fans, who can watch the FA Cup live online, will be delighted if the Londoners outclass their title challengers on Sunday.
Arsenal predicted line-up vs Liverpool
David Raya has been Mikel Arteta’s number one goalkeeper this season, but the Spanish boss will likely feature Aaron Ramsdale for the FA Cup game.
Ben White is expected to continue at right-back with Takehiro Tomiyasu on Asian Cup duty with Japan.
William Saliba wasn’t at his best against Fulham and the 22-year-old will be hoping to give a better performance at the Emirates.
Gabriel Magalhaes, who scored in December’s 1-1 draw at Liverpool, will want to make a similar impact on Sunday.
Meanwhile, at left-back, we are expecting Jakub Kiwior to start as Oleksandr Zinchenko is doubtful for the match.
Declan Rice, who has proved himself to be worth every penny for the North Londoners since joining for a record fee last summer, will partner Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz in midfield.
Odegaard and Havertz didn’t make much of an impact at Craven Cottage but both are excellent players who can completely change the game for the Gunners.
Arsenal’s front three should comprise Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli against Liverpool.
Saka got on the scoresheet against Fulham but Martinelli endured a difficult game, missing a golden scoring opportunity.
Arsenal predicted line-up: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
