Chelsea’s next five matches after the international break

Chelsea have recently seen a huge improvement under Mauricio Pochettino whose methods are finally looking to be working for them. 

The Blues overcame Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Cup before running out 4-1 winners at high-flying Tottenham Hotspur. Pochettino’s men then held defending champions Manchester City to a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge to enter the international break on a positive note. 

Chelsea are now set to return to Premier League action on 25 November, and below we look at their next five fixtures in all competitions, which are available to watch via the soccer streams.   

1- Newcastle United vs Chelsea (Saturday, 25 November) 

Eddie Howe’s men have seen a massive slump in form since their excellent wins over Manchester United and Arsenal earlier this month. Newcastle suffered a Champions League loss at Borussia Dortmund before Bournemouth condemned them to a humiliating 2-0 defeat in the English top-flight.  

2- Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion (Sunday, 3 December)

Roberto De Zerbi’s side had climbed up to third in the Premier League table at one point, but an indifferent form since has seen them drop to eighth. However, the Blues should avoid complacency when Brighton visit Stamford Bridge in December. 

3- Manchester United vs Chelsea (Wednesday, 6 December)

United have been very unconvincing with their performances this season. Manager Erik ten Hag relieved some pressure off him by leading his side to a 1-0 victory against Luton Town before the international break. But Chelsea will likely prove to be difficult opponents for them even if they will be playing at Old Trafford. 

4- Everton vs Chelsea (Sunday, 10 December)

Everton were hit with a 10-point deduction for breaching the league’s financial rules. They are now in serious danger of suffering relegation to the Championship. The Toffees will host the West Londoners on Sunday, 10 December. 

5- Chelsea vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 16 December)

Sheffield United are one of the favourites to drop down to the second-tier, but they have recently seen a resurgence in form. Paul Heckingbottom’s men overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 before securing a 1-1 draw at Brighton to pick up four points in two matches.
