Best Soccer Games To Watch In June 2023

Soccer fans are spoilt for choice in June, with the upcoming schedule packed with a host of top-class events at club and international level.

The highlight of the month for many people will be the Champions League final on June 10, which is guaranteed to attract a massive worldwide television audience.

Fans will be clamouring to find the best soccer streams to watch a match that could end with Manchester City claiming the treble.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side face another final before that, which is where we kick off our look at the best soccer games to watch in June 2023.

FA Cup Final

Man City recently clinched their fifth Premier League title in six seasons to keep their hopes of winning the treble firmly on track.

They have been in imperious form in recent months and will undoubtedly fancy their chances of winning the FA Cup final on June 3.

City will not find things easy against local rivals Manchester United, who are aiming to complete a double after winning the Carabao Cup in February.

The Red Devils will be desperate to stop City from emulating the treble success they achieved in 1998/99, setting up what should be a cracker at Wembley Stadium.

Women’s Champions League Final

More than 34,000 people will be in attendance as Barcelona and Wolfsburg clash in the Women’s Champions League final on Saturday.

However, the decision to stage the game at the same time as the FA Cup final looks to be a serious misstep by UEFA, with most fans likely to favour the Manchester derby clash.

Barcelona, who are through to their fourth final in five seasons, are aiming to lift the trophy for the second time in their history.

Wolfsburg have not won the Champions League since defending their title in 2013/14 and will be eager to end their drought in Eindhoven.

Europa Conference League Final

The addition of the Europa Conference League (UECL) to UEFA’s list of competitions in 2021 did not meet with universal approval, but the decision has been vindicated.

Roma emerged victorious last season and have since gone to progress to the final of the Europa League this term.

Fiorentina and West Ham United will be keen to follow a similar path by getting their hands on the UECL trophy in Prague on June 7.

West Ham are yet to lose in the competition this season but could have their work cut out against the talented Serie A team.

Champions League Final

Man City will hope their bid to win the treble is still alive when they face Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10.

The Premier League side breezed through the opening phase, before defeating RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the knockout stage.

Inter finished second behind Bayern in their group and have since beaten Porto, Benfica and AC Milan to reach the final.

Man City are overwhelming favourites to win the Champions League for the first time and it would be a shock if they failed to get the job done.

U20 World Cup Final

The U20 World Cup final on June 11 will be a showcase of some of the finest up-and-coming talent in the world.

Argentina and Brazil are among the favourites to win the tournament, while Uruguay are also fancied to make it to the latter stages.

The United States have looked impressive, sweeping into the quarter-finals without conceding a goal, and could progress even further.

England and Italy are scheduled to meet in the last-16, and the winners of that tie will be expected to reach the semi-finals at least.

Nations League

International football takes centre stage in the middle of the month as the finals of the Nations League are staged in the Netherlands.

The hosts face Croatia in the semi-finals on June 14, while Spain meet Italy in the other last-four tie the following day.

The winners of those matches progress to the final in Rotterdam on June 18, while the losers battle for third place in Enschede on the same day.

The Netherlands are favourites to lift the trophy, but Spain could be the value bet to emerge victorious.

European Championship Qualifiers

The latest round of European Championship qualifiers take place between June 16-20, and there are plenty of intriguing matches scheduled to take place.

The Group A clash between Norway and Scotland looks particularly enticing, with the visitors boasting an unbeaten record heading into the game.

France and Greece will meet in Group B, while Belgium and Austria will put their undefeated records on the line in Group F.

Austria are also in action a few days later against Sweden in a game that could go a long way to determining who progresses out of the group.
