FA Cup quarter-final draw: Man City face Burnley, Man United take on Fulham

The FA Cup quarter-final draw has been completed as Manchester City and Manchester United learned their opponents.

The Citizens will take on Burnley in the last eight after they eased past Bristol City in the fifth-round of the competition.

Phil Foden continued his impressive form as he scored in each half to put his side in control of the game. Kevin de Bruyne added a third late as City sealed a comfortable victory at the Ashton Gate Stadium.

Vincent Kompany’s side defeated League One side Fleetwood Town on Wednesday after Connor Roberts popped up with a late winner.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have been drawn against Fulham who prevailed over Leeds United 2-0 in the fifth round.

The Red Devils, who won their first silverware since 2017 in the Carabao Cup, looked in danger of getting knocked out of the FA Cup after Said Benrahma put West Ham United ahead in the second-half.

However, an own-goal from Nayef Aguerd brought United back in the game before Alejandro Garnacho and Fred also scored to lead the Manchester outfit to the quarter-final.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United will face Blackburn Rovers in the quarter-final tie. The Blades stunned Tottenham Hotspur with a 1-0 victory in the previous round with substitute Iliman Ndiaye netting the decisive goal.

Grimsby Town, who claimed a shocking 2-1 victory against Southampton, will face Brighton & Hove Albion in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
