Premier League games to watch in February 2023

Despite being the shortest month of the year, February offers sports fans a plethora of major events to wager on including the biggest in the United States’ sporting calendar.

Punters have been falling over themselves in the past few days to find the best NFL streaming sites ahead of the big game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL’s showpiece has inevitably attracted plenty of interest across the sporting spectrum, a point evidenced by a hilarious YouTube video starring Tottenham Hotspur players.

Four of the Premier League club’s stars took part in the NFL Teammates Challenge to promote the Super Bowl and boost their own spirits ahead of a hectic spell for the club.

The bonding session appeared to work the oracle, with Tottenham defeating reigning champions Manchester City 1-0 in their most recent outing.

Leicester City are next on the agenda for Tottenham before two blockbuster London derbies against West Ham United and Chelsea.

Tottenham are not alone in having some massive fixtures lined up during a month that promises to be a betting extravaganza for punters.

The Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton is the standout game on Matchday 23, with both clubs desperately needing to win for very different reasons.

Despite being one of the favourites to win the title Liverpool have had a miserable season and are in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification.

While expectations were not as high on the blue half of Merseyside, their fans were probably not expecting to be in the relegation zone after 21 games.

However, their recent victory over title-chasing Arsenal was the perfect way for new manager Sean Dyche to kick off his time in charge of the club.

The former Burnley boss will fancy his team’s chances of getting a positive result at Anfield and causing more headaches for Liverpool chief Jurgen Klopp.

All eyes will be on St James’ Park the following weekend as Newcastle United continue their quest to finish in the top four this term.

They will head into the game against Liverpool as favourites – a position many people would have imagined impossible just a few months ago.

The newly-minted Magpies are much improved under manager Eddie Howe and this match will be a useful yardstick of the progress they have made.

The highlight of the final round of Premier League games in February is undoubtedly the aforementioned clash between Tottenham and Chelsea.

The home side are also in the mix for a top four finish this term, but are unlikely to find things easy against a team that has plenty to prove.

Chelsea embarked on wild spending sprees during the last two transfer windows, but are well off the pace in the race for Europe.

However, with just over half of the season remaining, the Blues still believe they can climb back into the top four before the end of the campaign.

Their visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are always entertaining and this latest meeting promises to be a cracking encounter.
