Injury news

Liverpool have no major injury concerns beyond fatigue, but United are missing many players (see the Premier League injury table). Bruno Fernandes is a doubt after being involved in a car crash on Monday morning. Scott McTominay (foot), Edinson Cavani (calf), Luke Shaw (leg), and Fred (hip) are out, while Raphael Varane (muscle) hopes to return at some stage this week.

All manner of results come from derbies, but a confident Liverpool team at Anfield is a test United’s defence cannot overcome.
